　　戴维·布莱克韦尔博士出生于美国伊利诺伊州南部的一个小镇，先后在美国辛辛那提大学(University of Cincinnati，简称UC)和埃默里大学(EmoryUniversity)完成预防医学博士和临床医学博士学位，2004年任教于美国南方著名埃默里大学(Emory University)医学院，2010年任美国沃尔曼前列腺研究院副医生，因对男科前列腺炎做出了NIH技术分型，2013年，被美国沃尔曼前列腺研究院任命驻中国区首代表，同时兼任任芝加哥大学Ben May男性生理功能医学研究院医生。
